Sylvia Lea was founded by Madison Taylor, whose fascination with tailoring began long before the brand itself.
Growing up in East Yorkshire, Madison was drawn to menswear from an early age, often borrowing her father's oversized suits and discovering the confidence that came with wearing them.
After moving to London and graduating from London College of Fashion, that fascination evolved into a desire to create tailoring for women that held the same sense of presence and authority, without sacrificing femininity.
Sylvia Lea is the result. A modern interpretation of power dressing, shaped by masculine influences, feminine silhouettes and the women who wear them.
